Training and Security Assessment Services

The Orange Park Police Department offers Civilian Response to Active Assailant training at no cost to the public. We have provided training to a large number of local businesses and churches in the Town of Orange Park. The training focuses on how best to protect one's self in the time it takes law enforcement to respond to the scene.

The Orange Park Police Department offers free security assessments to local businesses and churches within the Town of Orange Park using (CEPTED) Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design principals. We work collaboratively with the property owner/manager to look at areas of physical security vulnerability and suggest ways to improve upon what is already in place. It is our goal to work together with the community to help keep everyone safe and teach simple ways to help protect against victimization.
