The Orange Park Police Department hosts a prescription drug drop off at our police station. This helps the community have a safe place to dispose of medication they may have sitting around their homes. The drop box is available for prescription pills and capsules, prescription patches, prescription medications and prescription ointments (as long as the lid is securely in place), over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and pet prescriptions.
Prohibited items include liquids, lotions, inhalers, thermometers, hydrogen peroxide, medicine from businesses or clinics, aerosol cans and sharps such as needles.
This drop box is available 24 hours a day, and we ask citizens to feel free to bring their old and unused medications and drop them off in a safe, convenient location.
