Pay Range
Police Officer: $50,209-$73,744
Sergeant: $63,421-$94,266

Paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid bereavement leave, paid military leave, paid holidays, and paid over-time.

Night pay differential.

Salary incentive – Paid for college degrees from the Town of Orange Park.

Salary incentive – Paid for college degrees and training from FDLE.

Defined Pension – municipal police pension for officers with 10 years of service at age 55 or at 25 years of service at age 52. Officers vest in five years.

The Town offers 457 Deferred compensation plan options.

Take Home Police Vehicle – A police vehicle to drive to and from work, college, gymnasium, training, court, picking up or dropping off police uniforms, picking up or dropping off family members at school, stopping at stores for minor purchases to and from work, and off-duty employment. (Within policy)

Tuition Reimbursement – College tuition reimbursed at Florida tuition rates for classes taken toward an Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science degree through an accredited college or university.

Voluntary fitness program – Work out while on-duty in our Police Department gym.
